Believe in what you do..................................

You have to believe in what you want and what you do. Traver Dodorye is talking about believing in yourself and your dreams. Some people actually wake up daily and live their life everyday with no hope. They just go with the flow. To accomplish anything you have to have a drive and a vision. Believing in what you do is hard because a lot people don't like taking risks because they are afriad to fail but Traver wants to let everyone know it is okay to fail just keep believing in yourself.

Success after death. by Traver Dodorye

Records were smashed for Jean-Michel Basquiat, Jackson Pollock, Roy Lichtenstein and auctions themselves as Christie’s (CHRS) sold $495 million of contemporary art last night in New York. It was the biggest art auction in history, said Marc Porter, chairman of Christie’s Americas.
“You have a lot of foreign money, a lot of hedge-fund money,” said Miami collector Martin Margulies after he exited the packed salesroom. “Stocks could go down 50 percent. If this goes down, it will eventually go back up. These are historical pieces.”

Traver Dodorye speaks:

I feel a certain way about this and I don't know why. Basquiat being one my favorite artists of all times standing right beside pablo picasso it is so interesting and akward that these paintings value so much today. Here is my question what is the difference from a painting that was painted in 1966 or 1983 to something painted today? So me as a young art guru coming up in the art industry I shouldn't worry about becoming succesful until I am dead. I respect all art and artist, but at the end of the day reality set in a couple of days ago when I saw that "Basquiats" dusty heads sold for 48 million, so your work is not valued without age?..........Wow unbelievable! Success after death!

Dream Unfold!

When it comes down to people having dreams the most important thing to me is having reality expectations. Success and luck is two different things. Having a dream is one thing but chasing your dream is taking action to making your dream come true. I Wake up daily and I grind. Nobody grinds for Dodorye more then I do. I breathe for this because I want to know that my hard work pays off and my dreams come true. I love painting and I love designing. I love that fact that I am seeing my dreams unfold in front of my eyes.

Brand Yourself!

 Brand yourself

When it comes down to branding your product the most important thing Mr. Dodorye thinks that will put you in the seat to succeed is your consistency. "People have to love what they do and do it daily" Traver says and he loves what he does and thats why he does it daily. Art is something that has to be consistent. You have to brand yourself when your company is named after you. Dodorye is named after Traver and it means so much to him. "My team has to understand it's not just a business it's my name" Mr. Dodorye says. He loves art and says people will soon get to know who the Art Guru is.

Adapt to one system. by Traver Dodorye

Adapting to one system is  is what most of people do and it is very difficult for another system to establish itself. Traver Dodorye talks about growing up and used to living one way and thinking it is ok to grow into these habits. "When I was growing up it was  OK to settle for selling drugs to be an alternate if college was not for you and now its an alternate while your in early high school days" says Traver. Basically he is trying to say people love to be comfortable which can be a bad thing sometimes. It is like breaking out of a shell. If you can't break out of your shell then you will always be where you are in your life with no progress. "Habit is stronger than desire for improvement" Traver is living his life through discomfort and is taking as much risks as possible to get to where he wants to be in his life.

Passion!

It is 4am and Traver talks about his day. It was hell.............I never felt so busy before in my life. Traver finds himself in the studio painting some shirt projects he started working on. It is the one listed below he decided to show because he said this shirt made him feel some type of way. "I'm not caught in my feelings, but I was thinking about the legacy of basquiat and this is what I created. I love Basquiat and how original he was so I decided to be as original as I could be". Mr. Dodorye is taking his talents to another level and will soon be where he wants to be if he keep up his consistency.

Born with a Gift! by Traver Dodorye

Everyone has a gift that they either know about or believe in or one that they ignore. Some of us are better at styling, doing hair, designing clothes, paint, draw, play sports, helping patients, doing surgery, defending one in court but we are all born with something we do exceptionally. Depending on whom the person is all determines if that person will succeed at what they love or whatever that gift is. In this economy we see so much talent go down the drain because of people getting caught up in the economy they live in. Stuck and drained from working a 9-5 job and trying to find time for family. I have come to realize no matter what if you want to become successful you MUST find time for your gift/craft and stay consistent at what it is. The light will never shine on you if you’re constantly in the dark. Sometimes you have to make a way when there is no way. Most successful people have made it where they are not because of the things they didn’t do but the things they did. Risk taking is the key people!
