KAWS Exhibition Installation @ La Nave / Las Salinas

Along Ibiza’s famous white sand beaches on Las Salinas rests an old, historic building, which was recently transformed to house the latest public installation by New York-based artist and designer KAWS. The vast 8,000-sq-ft exhibition is being hosted courtesy of New York City-based gallery Lio Malca‘s private collection in a harmonious fusion of contemporary and pop culture art juxtaposed by the structure’s industrial concrete floors, aged stone walls and high wooden beams. The project spurs a new series of upcoming exhibitions that will utilize the dynamic space as a display for the Malca family’s extensive contemporary painting, sculpture and photography collection. The KAWS installation is now open to the public until October 10.
