Jean Michael Basquiats Legacy lives on through some great people today. Jean was 27 when he died and passed in a way that could have been avoided. Due to jeans addiction to drugs it took a toll on him as lifes struggles reached an all time high. He was close to Andy Warhol who took him under his wings and provided guidance to basquiat. Growing up was hard for jean dealing with lifes struggle from parents getting a divorce, to getting kicked out of the house and living on the streets of nyc. Some how basquiat found a way to survive with the obstacles he was facing. Today Traver Dodorye an upcoming artist out of miami speaks on how he is noticing the legacy of Basquiat expanding rapidly. "I saw bow wow on 106 and park wearing his shirt, saw Miguel in one of his videos "the Thrill" wearing his shirt, it excites me to see Basquiats legacy living on and expanding. I will be working on some future projects that will help expand the name of basquiat"
