Gallery House by GM Arquitectos

Pereira, Colombia is a relatively large city populated with about 580,000 people. It’s just about equidistant from Bogota and Medellín, has a generally healthy economy, and the average annual temperature comes just shy of 80 degrees. If this sounds like a great place to live, houses like the Gallery House certainly sweeten the deal. Another grand residential work by the prolific GM Arquitectos, the 500 sq. meter Gallery House is an open, environmentally conscious construction. It is cleverly built on a hill to allow natural ventilation to flow through the entire structure, while elsewhere using the bamboo-heavy landscape as blinds for the private rooms. An exposed dining room flows into the pool area, which takes advantage of the warm climate and adds an inviting touch to the home. Modern, effortless, yet bold, enjoy a brief look at the Gallery House above. Interested parties can learn more about GM Arquitectos here.
