Banksy “Graffiti Is A Crime” Street Art in New York’s Chinatown
It’s been a while since we’ve seen new work from famed British street artist Banksy, but the renegade illustrator has resurfaced with a new piece in New York City’s Chinatown. After unveiling his plans for a new show – Better Out Than In – the stencil extraordinaire has depicted two curious children reaching for a spray paint can. Although the piece is open to interpretation, it seems to refer to art being a youthful endeavor, one that is consistently fueled by a sense of rebellion or independence. Like all Banksy work though, “Graffiti Is A Crime” does provoke opinions on art and its importance. Be on the lookout for more work from the artist as we anticipate Better Out Than In soon.
