Neck Face started out as a cult favorite amongst skateboarders, underground artists, and misfits, at a time when his art was perceived as too graphic. Over the years the California artist has been embraced by the art community and pop culture, and has collaborated with the likes of Nike, Vans, and Thrasher Magazine to name just a few. Despite all this, his work still represents the subconscious and primal thoughts within, amplifying one’s extreme thoughts through graphic, often comical sketching. This has been most recently evidenced by a new exhibition – No Mercy For The Weak – hosted at New Image Art Gallery in Los Angeles. Neck Face has expanded his mediums to include deeper illustrations, as well as full-on installations. Enjoy a look at the work via the recap above.
